Three Red Crowns A Baltimore-based Ensemble playing the works of John Paul Carillo & Anna Meadors

Done Mixing!

We are done mixing the album! We have a pre-master ready and will soon be pressing some promo discs to send out, to have some additional sets of ears take a listen. Then the mastered album will be ready later this year! I am very excited… a lot of people have put a lot of time, energy and love into this album for the past year, and I think you can hear it.

We are performing at Artscape this coming Saturday, July 21, at 12:30 pm, Station North Stage. Details here & on Facebook here.

Also, I cannot tell you how happy we were to play with Yeveto and Jaggery last month! What a great show – all the bands sounded amazing, and it was a wonderful night. Mali, the vocalist/leader of Jaggery is one of the nicest, most talented musicians I’ve met and I am very much looking forward to future shows together. Of our performance, she wrote “The opening band, Three Red Crowns, blew me away: Intricate mainly-instrumental Steve Reich-ish compositions with conversational interplay between violins, cello, and saxophone.” You can check out more of their stuff here.
